I'm Dave, and I like playing music. I started playing piano when I was around five years old, I became one of those marching band nerds in school, and over the years, I eventually started obtaining a possibly unsustainable number of musical instruments of every type.

In as few words as possible, I perform live-looped improvised music on stream. Because of the nature of my current setup, I tend to funnel myself into what could probably be described as House or Trance music, (I am laughably bad at identifying Electronica sub-genres) but I have played Jazz, Rock, and other styles on stream as well, depending on my mood and where the Jam takes me.

Twitch has added a "Schedule" page, so you should see my planned streams there, though admittedly, the schedule is a little loose. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, I stream before I go to work, since it's proven to be the time where I am most consistently free... when I'm not too tired and I actually wake up early enough. I've also been doing streams Tuesday and Thursday in the afternoon, though the start time tends to be kind of all over the place for the evening streams. Currently Twitch is where I am the most active online, but I have been trying to start putting my music out there in other formats on other platforms as well. The instruments I use the most on stream are: + Roland JP-8000 + Roland JP-8080 + Behringer Model D + Yamaha YPG-625 + Behringer Neutron + Behringer Deepmind 12 + Roland Fantom XR + Fender Jaguar CP Special HH Guitar + Fender Mustang III (v2) amplifier + Roland TR-8 (As a MIDI controller) + Ableton Push 2 + Arturia Keystep I do my looping using Ableton Live clips in session mode. I use MIDI clips for the Behringer synths, and audio clips for everything else. The only clips that I prepare ahead of time are the drums. Everything else that you hear, MIDI or Audio, is recorded real time during the performance. I have a bunch more instruments at my disposal that I will sometimes randomly pull out on stream. I suppose I'll keep some of those a surprise. I am easily amused by putting weird instruments in the "wrong" genres of music.
