#About Aim Higher, Achieve Greater: With the team not only focused on what we can achieve personally, but we are also concerned about the impact we can make on society as a whole. The “Aim Higher, Achieve Greater” initiative involves bi-annual charity campaigns benefitting various charities close to the member’s hearts. We invite those within the team, and the wider online community to use their channels – Twitch, Mixer, YouTube, to rally behind the causes and encourage their audience to support financially. **Our progress so far:** In May 2019, we launched the Aim Higher, Achieve Greater initiative during the annual campaign supporting St Jude Children’s Hospital: St Jude PLAY LIVE. During this launch event, between 8 members of the team and supporting friends, [almost $20,000 was raised](https://tiltify.com/+aim-and-achieve-stream-team/sailing-for-st-jude). The team was ranked 20th out of all teams supporting this campaign, this includes corporate and long-established teams. Our top fundraiser was in the top 50 from all supporters. # Our next steps: While we are proud of the achievements we made towards St Jude PLAY LIVE, we believe there is still more to aim for, and more to achieve. Therefore, in November 2019, we will launch the second Aim Higher, Achieve Greater campaign in support of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI). This is an engaging presentation that helps audience members learn about the warning signs of mental health conditions and what steps to take if you or a loved one are showing symptoms of a mental health condition. Audience members can ask questions and gain understanding of an often-misunderstood topic. Through dialogue, we can help grow the movement to end stigma. **Why:** We chose NAMI as it resonated with many team members, many of which suffer from, or support those with mental illness. What started as a small group of families gathered around a kitchen table in 1979 has blossomed into the nation’s leading voice on mental health. Today, they are an association of more than 500 local affiliates who work in your community to raise awareness and provide support and education that was not previously available to those in need.
