Avid Gundam fan, mostly use this account to play Gundam Versus.
Btw if anyone is having problem with the default button configuration for pad here's my guide
I'm going give a basic layout on reasoning why i go for such button config.
L1 = Melee
R1 = Sub
Triangle = Boost dive
Right joystick = Striker
While the rest are set to default.
Firstly, the way i hold my controller is like this.
1.My index finger is always holding onto L1 and R1.
2.My right thumb is sitted in a default position holding both X and Square button.
3.While my middle finger is resting below both L2 and R2.
The reason i set melee as L1 instead of Triangle, is so i'm able to easily access to charging CSA while melee-ing my opponent. The Great thing about this, you can also charge CSB while just holding onto the melee button. Charging CSA and CSB is a breeze with this configuration.
Boost dive is the most use mechanism in Gundam VS, hence i decided to place it as Triangle for easy access. Like i said earlier my thumb is always position on both X and Square. If i wanted to Boost dive, i could just slide my thumb across to Triangle without even having to move from my X button position. The same thing also apply when i have to change target which is the circle button.
The reasoning why i put Right joystick as striker cause u dont use it a lot ingame due to its limited ammo. Striker is all about timing wise. So i decided to place it as the least accessible area.
I hope this guide help you in the future
