About Alexander Farm

@AlexanderFarm is located in the heart of the Appalachian Mountains in Southwest Virginia. We're streaming interactive views of our beautiful chickens, and occasionally our beefy cattle (when they're closeby). @AlexanderFarm has been in the family for many generations!

Planned Streaming Schedule

@AlexanderFarm streams from sunrise to sunset every day unless offline due to network or power issues. The cameras can be interacted with using the "Camera Control Commands" options (defined in another section). *We are located in the United States Eastern Timezone*

Chat Commands

To learn more about our farm, animals, or technical details, you can enter the following commands: !location !chickens !cows !eggcount !eggstats !boxes !temperature

Feed the chickens!

Subscribers can feed the chickens up to 2 times per day EVERY DAY while your subscription is active (whether it's using Amazon Gaming free sub or regular paid subscription). To feed the chickens, subscribers can enter the !feed command in chat... our system does the rest to automatically throw out some scratch grains for the chickens to enjoy!

Camera Control Commands

You can send commands through the chat to move the cameras to preset points. Simply chat the following command: !{cameraName} {locationName} Example: !sky overview **Camera Names**: + ground (top left) + sky (top right) + coop (middle right) + cow (bottom right) + corner (bottom middle) + nest (bottom left) To see the available presets for each camera, chat the "help" command following the camera name: !{cameraName} help Example: !sky help You can also perform pan, tilt, and zoom (PTZ) movements individually for each camera. Enter a direction character and a number following the camera name, and we'll do the rest. Here are a few examples: + !sky l20 *moves the sky camera slightly to the left* + !sky r50 *moves the sky camera slightly to the right* + !sky u30 *moves the sky camera slightly up* + !sky d40 *moves the sky camera slightly down* + !sky i20 *zooms the sky camera slightly in* + !sky o10 *zooms the sky camera slightly out*
