One of my joys is bonding through music, and through my experiences being a clubber and managing club spaces I have realized the **great need** to make Alt spaces much more diverse and welcoming for Black people in particular. The easiest way to standardize inclusivity in these scenes is through music. I make a point to play lesser known/played artists curating a sound that incorporates Black creativity that often gets overlooked in popular genres. Don't you worry, though, I have plenty of oldies to mix in to help it feel like home!

#Good Question! ##I'm here to add **flavor** to industries that are overwhelmingly lacking Black inspiration and consideration, while providing a space for people to feel good about themselves - whether you like Deconstructed Pop or Noise Metal, there is a place for you here without judgement and with like-minded people. I typically play music according to my mood and what new music I want to share at the moment. I am open to requests for songs/artists (and will do my best to get them!), but more so want to encourage viewers/listeners to let me know if they're in a particular mood for a vibe or genre so I can experiment and bring you something unique. We get sidelined so often when we try to express ourselves and grow with our communities and I actively work to rectify that. ##*With that said, racially charged language toward any BIPOC will not be tolerated here.* It is crucial that you support Black and Brown persons in various communities to help those spaces become more representative and equitable for us. The simplest way to do this would be to **directly apply your efforts toward Black and Brown folx in the circles you're involved in.** Some Black and Brown people would appreciate you asking specifically what you can do, but it is safe to say that uplifting us and our passion projects purposefully is an excellent route. **Before** donating to major Black and Brown causes or following a non-Black or Brown creative that says they'll make donations, consider talking with one of us first to see if this is helpful. Donations typically have more impact on a local level, with either a specific person or a smaller non-profit as the direct benefactor! Please consider supporting Black and Brown people **directly** versus a non-BIPOC siphoning and repackaging Blackness for personal gain or diluting the message.
