Hi, nice to see you reading this bit :). I'm currently 37 years young and surely getting younger each day ... wink wink. A lot of things have happened in the course of those years, including mysteriously growing up into an adult, finishing a university and spending over 11 years in corporate-style IT focused employment in various roles, but during all that time I never gave up on playing all sorts of great games :). For the curious ones I was: * IT officer in an airlines company * 2ndline support Wintel system admin * IT Technical quality lead * People manager * IT Solution architect * IT Lead engineer I also am in a steady long-term relationship with my lovely and very supportive girlfriend :). Exactly on the 4th June 2018 was the day I signed the resignation agreement to leave my last corporate job on 30th June 2018 and move on after more than a year of deciding and thinking about how to change my life after my previous medical attempts to get better with my burned-out situation. I have decided for myself, that I need a hard stop and a proper break and corporate lifestyle or any usual employment can no longer sustain me and actually is making me physically sick. With the single common thing running through my whole life bringing me joy and relaxation, I have decided to do my very best and start streaming to feel better and make others feel better with me or discuss their similar troubles to see if I could help based on my own experience. Long story short, since I never wish to get there again myself, I hope to find people who share my passion for games and happier life. Feel free to ask me for any details you wish to know about my burnout, unless of course it would be waaay too personal :).
