Why are you doing this? I have a desire to go from novice to expert in an area I love! Why are you doing this... on twitch? I want to have a platform I can document this journey with. I also want to help and share with others what a journey like this is like for a person. If I can fail 10,000 times but it helps other musicians and viewers with their craft and goals, it makes doing this worth it. Do you have a planned date when you will complete 10,000 hours? Nope. This will be a log journey and I cannot dedicate myself to a certain number of hours per day. It is going to vary. I am going to be on this path for 5-15 years! Okay... so if you do not have a target date, what happens if you never get there? That is going to be a possibility. It is my largest fear for this project. However, if it happens then it happens. I cannot see myself ever turning down music, but I may want to stop streaming it or trash the project altogether. Either way, I cannot predict the future so let's see how far we go on this path! Are you at least going to have a schedule? I probably will not. I know that is not the best for growing the stream but the purpose of this project is too deeply go into music and hone my craft. We all have busy lives and I might have to squeeze in practice mornings or nights. How often will you stream your practice sessions? I will do my best to stream as much as I practice! I cannot guarantee that all 10,000 hours will be streamed. I see you playing more than guitar. How can you become world-class if you are doing different things? This is important to address and it is connected to my motivation for doing this. I am not seeking to be the greatest guitar player in the world. I do not wish to be a master of an instrument. I want to be a balanced musician. 10,000 hours will reflect the practice I put into music as a whole, not on one specific skill.

In order to become world-class at a craft, one must diligently practice, study, and work for 10,000 hours. Simple, but not easy. So, I decided that I will take this journey into music, something I have cherished but have also hesitated in becoming good at. Also, I have decided to share all of it here on Twitch.
