Picked up my first setup in 2002, two Technic 1210 MK5s and a Tascam X9 mixer. I was living in Fukuoka Japan at the time, and trance was in its full on swing. Started out only mixing my small but growing collection of hard and acid house vinyl, just pulling inspiration from all the local djs at the time. My schedule prevented me for getting any kind of actual residency at a club, but I was able to pull a few smaller gigs, and many more house parties as I learned and honed my skills. Fast forward to 2008, and I was DEEP into the funky/soul groove, I could not get enough of Flapjack records - and basically anything that came out of Chicago. This is where I started DJing online. Stickam was all the rage. This is the time I also bought my current setup - and started moving towards digital mixing. Now here I am 10 years later in 2018 and playing out in club across Tokyo and Chiba. I mostly play Techno and all genres/subgenres of House - though I still remember my roots, and mix pretty much anything... especially anything with a beat.
