> **Do you know what chat is saying?** Yes. The chat is being read by a screen reader (TTS) on a separate laptop, and I have an audio mixer to combine the audio from both computers to hear the chat. Additionally, screen readers are how completely blind people interact with computers in general. > **Were you born completely blind?** No, but I was born with a genetic disease causing me to be legally blind with my vision being about 20/400. >**When did you become completely blind?** Around the summer of 2014. >**How did you lose your vision?** It was a mix of losing it over time and losing the majority of it over one night. >**When did you start playing WoW?** I started playing WoW during TBC when I still had some vision (legally blind). Then, my vision was starting to get worse, and I stopped during Cata. After being blind for a while, I thought that it might be interesting to figure out if I could play WoW completely blind; therefore, I slowly compiled enough information to play the game and started playing again during BFA. >**How can I learn more about how you play?** Here is a link to a guide I made on how to play WoW blind: [Guide](https://www.reddit.com/r/wow/comments/9w7mr1/guide_on_how_to_play_world_of_warcraft_blind/) >**How do you heal?** For dungeons, it will say the numbers 1-5 with 1 being my health and 2-5 being my party member's health. Once someone drops below 90% health it will start saying their number, and the lower the health someone is, the faster their number will be said. Furthermore, I use the F1-F5 keys to target party members. Additionally, it has audio alerts for cooldowns. The addon is called AudioQs. >**Do you DPS?** Yes, but I prefer to heal because I feel that it is more engaging. >**Do you raid?** Sometimes, but I prefer to do mythic+ and arena.
