Bongo's Bingo would like to help R Charity, Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust's charity raise funds to support their staff and patients through the COVID-19 pandemic. 2020 has been a worrying time for us all. Our Liverpool hospitals have been caring for a high percentage of the UKs COVID-19 patients, and they continue to face extremely tough months ahead, doing all that they can to provide the best treatment and care to those who need it. This is why we would like as many of you as possible to make a small contribution to help support their teams and patients through these difficult times. The hospitals fundraising team are doing all that they can to raise funds to support their incredibly hardworking staff and their well being throughout and beyond the COVID-19 pandemic. Staff are stretched, and are working under extremely tough and challenging circumstances both physically and mentally. We will be fundraising to help to provide these staff with psychological and well-being support through the provision of additional psychologists, well-being rooms, well-being packs and whatever other support may be required to make their jobs caring for the people of Merseyside and beyond easier. The charity want to be able to support its patients who face being separated from family and friends with support and provisions during their stay and donations will help towards the provision of toiletries, pyjamas, and electronics like IPads to keep patients in touch with family, and other items like board games and books to make their stay feel less isolated.
