BotFodder2

I sometimes stream games from my PS5 - too cheap to spend the money on a decent enough PC for the games I'd like to play. You can find me on Twitter at https://twitter.com/botfodder - PSN: BotFodder2 YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/c/Botfodder2

FAQ

1. **This Doesn't Look Like A Game.** > It may very well not be. One thing I'm doing is attempting to learn more about some of the more complex parts of networking. More accurately, learn the things that might someday get me (re)certified either as a CCNP, or get me closer to getting my long dreamt of CCIE. The title of the stream should be something like "Learn Networking With Bot". Now ... if it is a game: 2. **Can I Join You?** > Generally ... No. 3. **That's ... Kind of rude!** > That's not a question. It depends on the game. Realize the PS4 uses "Parties" for most chat and game coordination. This also means that you must already be a PSN Friend, and I'm not comfortable adding people I've just met as PSN Friends (even when FuelRatting in *Elite: Dangerous* I frequently go through and remove clients from my friends list). Even if you are my friend, look to see if I've started a "Party" for the game I'm in (or am in someone else's party). If not, I probably would rather focus on the game rather than have a conversation while playing ... Or just want to be left alone. STAR WARS BATTLEFRONT in particular (due to the PS4 Party and SWBF "Partner" system) is a game I'm likely to just want to play by myself, even though it's a multiplayer game. Conversely, BATTLEFIELD 4 is definitely something I'll join if I see a friend in a party playing the game. 4. **Why is it "BotFodder2" and not "BotFodder"?** >On Twitch, it looks like someone already has "BotFodder" (and I thought I was the only one). On PSN, they wouldn't let me use just "BotFodder" because the email address I signed up with had just "botfodder@" in it. 5. **Do you play PC games?** >I used to. I can't get to the computer (it's buried in my office) and it's a bit old. If I ever get enough money to spare (and there's a list that comes before this), I'll look into getting a decent PC. 6. **What games do you have for the PS4?** >These days I've been playing NO MAN'S SKY exclusively, but I have: >> * Rainbow Six:SEIGE >> * OVERWATCH. >> * Star Wars Battlefront >> * Battlefield 4 (For me it's a little like comfort food, and I'd play it more if I could find a squad to play with on the PS4 - my clan being based on the PS3) >> * LEGO Batman 3 >> * LittleBigPlanet 3 >> * inFAMOUS: Second Son 7. **Is there any way to contact you?** > Twitch has some kind of messaging system, I think, but other than that you can find me on [Twitter](https://twitter.com/BotFodder), and I have a [blog](http://botfodder.com/). I'll occasionally post warnings to Twitter about what I might be playing an hour or two before I actually start streaming. Or explain why I won't be streaming. Highlights from some streams might find there way on to [YouTube](http://www.youtube.com/c/botfodder2). 8. **What's your schedule?** > I don't have a "hard" schedule - in that I reserve the right to not broadcast. I'm on the east coast of the United States, and generally play (if I play) weekdays after work between 5:30pm and 7:00pm (after 7 I have stuff to do to get ready for the next day). Weekends will usually see me on sometime after noon (barring some other interruption) with a break around 4:30pm, and then playing again until 7pm on Sunday. Fridays and Saturdays will see some later-night playing, but usually I'm done by 10pm. 9. **Why no camera**? > 1. I'm cheap. > 2. My face would add nothing to the stream. > 3. It would take up valuable screen real estate. 10. **I see someone other than you!** > I auto host three other streamers right now: >> * [Macie_Jay](http://twitch.tv/Macie_Jay) because he's a chill guy and I regularly watch him play Rainbow Six: Seige (even if it's just to the end of a game, I can't go to bed knowing a stream is running without watching just a little of it). >> * [SovietWomble](http://twitch.tv/SovietWomble) because he's funny and his streams are just the raw form of his YouTube videos. >> * [EdbergTV](http://twitch.tv/edbergtv) who I discovered through SovietWomble and Edberg is just a really chill guy. > So if I'm not streaming, you'll usually see one of them if they're on.
