coaching / demo reviews

currently willing to do coaching for $25/session (1hr min) but only for advanced/invite players. advice for gettings better at tf2: tf2 is a numbers game. everything is about numbers. good sacking? actually about using your numbers to pressure well. uber exchanges? actually about delaying to get numbers. midfights? numbers. uber advantages? Yes. Numbers. Reading situations as giving you an extra number or one number less is a very good practice, there's a reason a sentry gun is a "seventh man" practice you fundamentals. ALL of them. A LOT. This includes DM and movement, but it also includes comming, a hugely overlooked and undervalued fundamental. I would go so far as to say good communication skills are also a fundamental part of tf2 given that it's a team game. don't feed and protect your medic. This will get you into invite. Not kidding. Most often, playing simple tf2 is often just better. There are situations where this doesn't hold true but being able to simplify the game is a necessary skill to fall back on at times. not feeding and protecting your medic tf2 is a fun game. whatever you do, do it cause you like it. Nothing is a bigger to frustration to improvement than burnout and the easiest way to not burnout is to enjoy the game.
