After borrowing a friend's "PRO 150" Turntables and "Sound lab DSM15" mixer, DJ BUBA (armed with his early collection of "Bargin Bin" 12"s from his local record shop) spent most of 1996 &;1997 locked away figuring out how to mix beats together. Come the end of '97, Buba was ready to be unleashed on Bournemouth's (South UK) dance music crowds. Fusing Big Beat with Garage, House and Old Skool Rave classics, It wasn't long before he found the emerging BREAKBEAT scene. Then in 2002 Buba met a very like-minded individual running the Vinyl section of HMV in Bournemouth, who noticed they were both buying the same styles of records. That Individual was none other than Jason King. The two would go on to for BUBAKING at a residency where they were both playing separately. That night the Headliner, DJ FOOD wanted to have a rest and there was still a crowed who wanted to keep going. With two full DJ setups available, BUBA and KING performed an unplanned set that even caused DJ FOOD to join in with the duo. From there on BUBAKING could usually be found rubbing shoulders with all the big names in BREAKS (Plumps, Stantons, Krafty, Freq nasty..... the list goes on) whenever they were booked to DJ in Bournemouth town. Club nights, Festivals, Weddings and even Kids parties, the Duo can always rock a crowed. At the start of 2020, with the UK being put in lockdown, DJ BUBA set to turning the Garage in his garden in to a suitable space (The BUBCAVE) from where to give the Livestreaming thing a go. As one of the first wave of GFF artists he gained his following by being involved in various Raid Trains and Events on Twitch.
