My name is David. I started playing tournament chess in 2011 with my first rating being 1240. I fell in love with learning about chess and have been working to earn the Expert title which is a USCF rating of 2000. I am currently at 1740 (December 2020 supplement).
Along my journey to improve I have realized there aren't that many people helping beginner or lower-rated adults improve at chess. I started streaming to show my journey and to help others improve as well. You won't learn deep opening theory or complex endgame knowledge by watching my stream. However, you will learn that there are others just like you wanting to improve and that some of them have been where you are now. You will learn that our community is welcoming of all skill levels and we want to help you be the best chess player you can be.
