Thank you for being with me! Music is therapy, bonding, and peace of mind.
My name is Michael, from 1973(yes I invented sanskrit, knew Flintstone personally and shook hands with Tutankhamun) and I live in the province of Utrecht, Netherlands.
Music is my life. It's therapy, magical, bonding, comforting and what not. I started to play the guitar when I was 13 yrs old. Starting off with lessons classic and spanish music( and reading off notes), I quickly lost interest and wanted to play secular music, like Bob Dylan, Rolling Stones. I managed to get the second degree of that lyceum(dedicated music school).
I was in music bands for about 18 years.

Starting off, my first PC was a 386 DX33(Mhz), a 14 inch monochrome screen and a NEC Pinwriter. When printing, it shook so heavily that I was afraid it would break the table it was standing on. The PC could barely play the first version of Wolfenstein 3D, which was hot at the time :) First console I knew was the Atari 2600, which my parents bought in the 80's.
After my first PC things followed up quick. Despite starting off with Intel, I changed parties to AMD till the Duron. After that I switched to Intel, with the first Dual Core. Never changed party since.
First video card I remember having was the Geforce2 MX. Maybe a I forget a Radeon Card in between, but quickly after that I bought a Voodoo Banshee 16 MB card, just because it ran the first version of Deus Ex much better.
It's fun telling and talking about history of Personal Computers. Old systems, like molex, how things looked, were so different than systems nowadays.
