Heyo, I am Dave, also know as Delvoid. I live in the UK with my fiancée and 3 children. I worked from home for the past 13 years as a system admin/system tester. I have been studying Javascript for just over a year now while holding down a full time job. I have realised my long term goal is to pursue a new career in programming. I left my previous role to focus on learning programming full time.

I stream my learning journey to become a web developer. I mostly focused on JavaScript(Typescript). My main project right now is [Clipbot.tv](https://clipbot.tv), working with Roxkstar74 to make a web version. Built with Next.js, tRPC, prisma and tailwind.

##Where have you been? I took some time away to focus on my mental health and family. During this time i decided i wanted a career change and focused on learning. ##Do you still play League of Legends? No i stopped playing league to spend more time with my family and study programming.

I never planned to stop streaming, but my mental health took a big hit. I have always planned to come back to streaming from my league days, wether it be gaming or a new chapter in my life. Now is that time, inspired to learn/ build in public by amazing people like Roxkstar74, Cmgriffing, Adamdotdev and many others! Not going into too much detail. Another reason, as crazy as this may sound, I feel lonely/isolated when it comes to tech. I do not have many connections/ friends when it comes to tech(or in general LMAO). I am very excited about what i am learning and working on, but have no one to talk with about it. I am hoping streaming to help that and help others that may feel the same way.
