**Don't be a dick.** To me, to the moderators, or to other people in the chat. That should be pretty straightforward. Disagreements and differences of opinion are totally cool, just be polite about them. **I have a "scorched earth" moderation policy.** I'm at my best when I'm excited and happy, not when I'm annoyed and angry, and I'm a strong believer in politeness and positivity. If you're being impolite, rude, or otherwise just generally obnoxious, I (or a moderator) are just going to get rid of you. Again, disagreements and differences of opinion are totally fine, just don't be a dick. **I stream on my personal time.** This is just me and you hanging out, nothing more. Anything I do or say here is representative of me and me alone. **Links are okay**, so long as you're not blatantly advertising something and it's relevant to the discussion at hand. Linking to an awesome cat picture when everyone's talking about how awesome cats are is cool, for example, but spamming a link to your own stream is not (unless you've gotten permission first). Make sure to mention what you're linking to, also, so that the mods don't mistake you for a random spammer. **Do not use link shorteners such as Tinyurl or Bit.ly, you will be banned/timed out immediately.**
