#Fun facts about Zing + I've been a DJ since 2001 (Yes I'm old) + I've played at various events all over the east coast as well as in the Dominican Republic & Australia + I still DJ with those round black things sometimes (I own over 700 of them) + My main genre(s) are House and its many forms, Trance, Hardcore, and Electro Swing + Uplifting and vocal trance are my favorites (WAO138?!, FSOE, and A&R for label examples) + Contrary to popular belief I am NOT a full time DJ (as much as I'd love to be... I'm not established enough to live my life the way my career allows it. So please respect this) + Ultimately I just want to share great music with anyone else who might listen and appreciate it! #Don't be a dick about the things you don't like + Folks are moderating the chats so please give respect, expect the same, and we'll be fine #Requesting + Please: Contact me directly or please let my mods know. Which brings me to the next point: + My episodes are generally pre-determined so please don't get upset if I can't just drop a request on the fly + I am only connected to my computer to record. I can't magically pull tracks unless I throw them on my USB drive and swap via CDJ. I USE NO SOFTWARE TO MIX WITH + I can't just switch genres in the middle of a set (I have done this live, but I need transition tracks to slowly change the BPM between them. That's just how I mix sorry!) + If I don't enjoy it, I most likely won't play it + If I can't mix it, I won't play it (Needs to be a DJ friendly track or something I can loop and mix in) + I sometimes do random shows or random vinyl shows + Even though I am limited from show to show, I am more than happy to take requests and hear tracks etc. for future shows! Please don't be afraid to ask. Worst I will say is no + Again please just don't be a douche, know it all, or annoyance.
