I stream Tuesday and Thursday 5-10 PM Pacific. I play retro games, Dark Souls and Spelunky. I'm trying out every PC Engine game, too. No, I won't do the Lickitung voice.

I'm a freelance Japanese to English translator and variety retro game streamer from the midwestern US. I play action games, JRPGs, arcade games and the odd Spelunky or Dark Souls run. My favorite games are Final Fantasy IV, Doom, and Dark Souls. I usually stream on this schedule: Monday: 7-11:59PM CST Tuesday: 7-11:59PM CST Wednesday: 7-11:59PM CST ...and then during the day once or twice a week, but that's not on a set day.

If you'd like to support my stream, please note that cheering and subscribing on Twitch will play an extremely loud notification, which tends to make me jump out of my skin, so feel free to pick the funniest or most disruptive time you can. The links below will take you to my Streamelements page, where you can send me a tip, as well as to my Patreon profile. [Tip](https://streamelements.com/dot_lvl/tip) [Patreon](https://www.patreon.com/dot_lvl) Don't feel any obligation to support, of course! But the more money I make streaming, the more time and effort I can invest into it. TIPS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE

I'm aware that other Twitch chats are a little raunchier than mine, so if one of your messages gets purged from chat, don't worry; no one's offended and it's nothing personal. With that out of the way: Homophobia, racism, transphobia, ableism, and sexism are not allowed here. Don't make too many crude sexual jokes. It's just not my sense of humor. Don't vent here. Please also avoid heavy subjects and current events. Please don't spoil anything or give me any unsolicited advice at all if I'm playing a game I've never played before. Exploring the mechanics and/or repeatedly making giant, obvious mistakes is most of the fun of video games for me.

Platformageddon is my big stream project! I've decided to beat every console 2D action platformer, meaning games with that focus on combat over exploration or platforming acrobatics, released before the PS2 era. The criteria for Platformageddon are: 1) The game must be linear. Branching paths, like Mega Man and Castlevania 3, are okay, but Metroidvania-style games are out. 2) You must have a dedicated attack button that works on the ground; if your jump doubles as your only attack, like DuckTales or Alfred Chicken, that doesn't count. 3) If you have a dedicated attack button, it needs to be available at all times; if you need a powerup to use it, like Adventure Island or Super Mario Bros., that doesn't count, and if you need ammo, like the Blues Brothers Amiga game, that doesn't count either. There are currently 487 games in the master list, but I wouldn't be surprised if it ended up coming in at over 600 when all's said and done.

ABCDSTG is my quest to graduate from shmup kindergarten! I've always loved shmups, but I've never been that great at them, so I got the idea to work my way up the Japanese STG Difficulty Ranking Wiki from level 0. As you can see, I don't take speedrunning very seriously. I don't plan to start, either, but it's fun sometimes. I really fell in love with the PC Engine over the course of my last major stream project, so I've made the probably ill-advised decision to attempt to play (but not necessarily beat!) every PC Engine game in chronological order of release. Currently, I run these streams every Tuesday, starting as close to 8:00 P.M. Central US time as I can manage. Unfortunately, I don't want to get banned, so I will need to skip games with NSFW content...which is a significant chunk of the system's 696-game library. My plan is to give five games a try every episode. Eventually, I hope to expand on this with full playthroughs of some of the most interesting games, but since many of them aren't translated, it will depend on whether I feel I have the time to do the game justice.
