I’m Dracthonia, THE Bat Queen of Twitch! Let me also introduce the Bat Pack, our little family here, don’t mind them they don’t bite…much. ## **How/when/why did you start?** Our journey started on the 18th of February 2017. In the middle of writing my thesis for my PhD in Genetics (Yes, I am now a Dr!), I realised I was terrified of having to present at my defence! **I needed to get over my crippling fear of talking in front of people, fast!** Then I found Twitch. I saw how confident and supportive streamers could be and knew what I had to do! Little did I know, through this, I could help others come out of their shells too. Thus, the Bat Pack were formed. ## **Why so many Bats?** Bats are remarkable but misunderstood creatures in need of our love! Much like our little Bat Pack here! We are all striving, fighting our various demons, and becoming the badasses we are meant to be!

###I identify as Bisexual/Pansexual/Queer and am demiflux/Non Binary (pronouns: she/her/they/them). By this I mean that I am attracted to people of all genders as well as those who reject or subvert gender norms entirely. It is important to me that my stream is a welcoming and safe place for all, LGBTQIA+, BAME and those with disability/chronic illness (mental or physical). That being said, whilst being queer is an important part of my identity - and we do occasionally discuss these issues - my stream is primarily a place where people of all backgrounds can come together to play games, talk, and bond. **NO DISCRIMINATION WILL BE TOLERATED**
