I am not a twitch affiliate because I want to give my viewers ad-free viewing for as long as possible, and I don't think the benefits, at the size my channel is, are worth pre-roll ad spam. Also, I didn't like the feeling of responsibility to have good emotes, sub badges, channel point rewards, etc. especially when I had such a limited size pool of emotes to work with. I just felt like there was no great benefit to subbing, and I didn't feel like putting more effort in either. Perhaps in the future I'd be more willing to put effort into that stuff. So for now, this is basically the only way to send me tips/donations for the foreseeable future. I'm very grateful to anyone who decides to support me this way, thank you.
