Expanded Rules
- If you are found to be under 18 you will be banned. Any statement of your age I will take as serious, so be careful - "im 12 and what is this" isn't so obviously a joke on Twitch.
- No slurs, no attempts to get around slur filtering, no hate. This one is pretty self explanatory.
- No arguing. Like, you can express disagreement, but don't ARGUE in chat; it's annoying.
- Avoid edgy or mean-spirited "jokes", and "jokes" about sensitive topics. This isn't an auto-timeout because it's not like I'll never ever joke about edgy things or laugh at jokes, but there's a line and if you don't know if you're past it then it's probably better to not risk it.
- No links to anything twitch-external unless you ask first and are given mod/my approval.
- No one-man spam. If everybody in chat is spamming something, then whatever - but if I see one person in particular spamming out other people, it's a problem.
- Literally anything I decide is timeout-worthy because I'm annoyed by it.
Any of the above done multiple times will result in a "worse" punishment, e.g. message deletions for twitch-external links will become a timeout if you keep doing it, etc.
Closed Captioning
Instructions on how to turn on/off CC:
- On PC viewers can turn captions on and off using the CC button on the bottom right of the player.
- On iOS it's a system wide setting: Settings -> General -> Accessibility -> Subtitles & Captioning -> Closed Captions + SHD
If it's already off but viewers still see captions they have to turn it on and off again (appears to be a bug on some iOS versions)
- On Android it's Closed Captions under the player settings options right beneath the quality selection. The option will only show up once the streamer has talked.
