Welcome to the Eyrie!
#Welcome to the Eyrie! ###I am Falcolmreynolds! I'm a long-time streamer who specializes in D&D and various video games. On this channel, I play whatever I feel like playing. The persona of Falcolmreynolds was first created on Xbox Live in maybe 2009 on a whim, and has stuck as my name ever since. ************* Aside from gaming, I do a lot of writing and will often talk about my works while playing (If I start, there's a good chance I won't stop, so be careful if you choose to ask!).
I'm a stay-at-home writer, so this is my only source of income aside from my written works. Anybody is free to donate any amount; anything is appreciated. No pressure though obviously! <3 *********** ##Top Supporters of the Eyrie ###100+ - finalstand102996 - k3vst4r - jdelooze - Jacklefury ###50+ - SkylarkLanding - Sketchy_Lurker ###25+ - purpl3fish - NecoMachina - chenti999
##Rules of the Eyrie! 1. Don't be an asshole. 2. No promoting (either yourself, your stream, someone else's stream, a game, or anything else) without permission. 3. This does in fact qualify by Twitch's content standards as a mature stream. I'm not obligated to ban you, but I can't be held responsible for anything you might see or hear here if you're underage but you've clicked past that "18+" warning anyways. 4. If you are annoying/offensive and you are clearly not here to watch the stream, my mods and I can and will ban you. 5. I won't stand for hate speech in my stream. If I see you making remarks that are designed to hurt or insult a specific group of people, I will ask you to stop, and if you do not, I will ban you. I will not tell you more than once. 6. If I miss your message in chat, I'm very sorry, but I AM trying to pay attention to you and everyone else in chat while also playing the game and commentating on it to entertain you. This sort of falls under the Golden Rule mentioned above. 7. Don't harass my mods, and don't harass me. That's a good way to get yourself banned- and if they time you out for doing something, know that it was for good reason and you should probably not argue with them. The only moderator that might time you out for an illegitimate reason is the bot, and you can't really argue with that. Also, if you get banned from the stream, please do not make an alternate account and return purely to cause trouble for anyone. That's just a silly and childish thing to do and we'll just ban you again. Our banhammers are a lot faster than your account creation.
##What I do: I play a variety of games here, and I often try out new things. I also will play games through to try and get every achievement, no matter how hard or tedious it is to get (though that's kind of an Xbox thing, which I still haven't gotten set up yet). Typically I play on PC, but if I get a chance (See also: the Donate panel) I might be able to hook up a capture card to my Xbox and stream some games there as well. ************* ###Games I play regularly: - Skyrim (PC, Xbox) - Dungeons and Dragons (Tabletop) - 7 Days to Die (PC) - Minecraft (PC, Xbox) - Fallout: New Vegas (PC) - Fallout 4 (PC) - No Man's Sky (PC) - Sunless Sea (PC) - Hollow Knight (PC) - I'll update this list when I can! ###Games I can/have played: - Mirror's Edge (PC) - Never Alone (PC) - Starbound (PC) - Time of Dragons (PC) - Riders of Icarus (PC) - Assassin's Creed: Black Flag (PC) (New!) - Night of the Rabbit (PC) (New!) - The I of the Dragon (PC) (New!) - Sunless Sea (PC) - Savage Lands (PC) - Dragon Age: Inquisition (Xbox) - Don't Starve (PC) - Don't Starve Together (PC) - Riven (PC) (New!) - Halo: Reach (Xbox) - Halo 3 (Xbox) - Bioshock (Xbox) - Bioshock Infinite (Xbox) - Dishonored (PC) - Fallout 3 (Xbox) - Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood (Xbox) - The Mass Effect Trilogy (Xbox) - The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (Xbox) - Broken Age (PC) (New!) - 60 Seconds (PC) - Far Cry 4 (PC) - Stardew Valley (PC) - The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt (PC) - Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag (PC) - Dragon Age: Origins (PC, Xbox) Additionally, I'll probably sometimes run creative streams where I do story work and worldbuilding (sometimes literally!) and all that good stuff. If you've never known how hard writing a good book is: You will once you watch one of those streams. Anything marked (New!) means that I haven't played it yet and I'll probably be starting it on stream.
##My PC: The computer I currently play on is a Lenovo Y50 Gaming laptop. He's got a 15.6" screen, an NVIDIA GTX 960 GPU, and an Intel core i7. He also has a recently installed Samsung 850 EVO 1TB solid state drive. The microphone I use is a Blue Nessie Condensed Cardoid Microphone. I have a Razer Deathadder infrared gaming mouse. Fuse (that's the laptop's name) is cooled with a CM Storm SF-15 cooling fan pad. My headphones are wireless Sennheiser RS 120 hi-fi headphones. The keyboard is a Logitech G910 Orion Spark mechanical keyboard.

###What kinds of games to you play? Whatever strikes my fancy. Usually PC or Xbox 360 games, because those are the things I most readily have access to. In the future I may expand to more consoles (but that's expensive). ###Are you going to play (game)? The answer is maybe. If you suggest a game to me, I might consider playing it, if it's within my budget and interesting to me. BUT: if you come in here to promote your game and for no other reason, I will probably not only ignore you, but refuse to play your game as well. ###How long have you been streaming for? About four years. My first stream was on February 12, 2016. ###Do you have a YouTube channel with past broadcasts? I sure do! I usually don't export the entire past broadcast, because those are really long, but I oftentimes make highlights and export those for your viewing pleasure. Additionally, that's where the past D&D sessions are archived. Just click the panel with the YouTube play button on it and it'll take you right there! ###Will you do more streams in the future? Well, I now stream four times a week, which is a decent schedule. Ideally I would also be able to lengthen the streams to more than three hours a night, and do weekend overnight streams. I'm also working on improving my equipment so that the stream runs flawlessly. That would be ideal. ###Why did your stream (insert technical issue here)? The stream probably froze or crashed, or is having a lot of trouble buffering. The buffering is caused by the fact that my stream is optimized to reduce delay so that it's easier for me to chat with you guys; there's not so much of a gap in between when you send your messages and when I get them. If the stream froze or crashed, I'll have it back up in just a moment; my computer's main issue is that he overheats a lot, and shuts down when that occurs. ###What was the first ever game you played? My FIRST EVER game was a typing game called Tomb Typer, which was part of some sort of larger typing adventure game that no one can remember the name of. That, and some old library-rented games like Spirit and Nancy Drew. The first one I owned that you'd consider an actual video game was Pokemon Pearl on the Nintendo DSLite. The first large console I owned was a Wii, which I used to play generic Wii fitness games. Then I got my Xbox years later and started off with Skyrim, eventually branching off into Mass Effect, Halo, Assassin's Creed, Fallout, and finally to the PC with Mirror's Edge, Don't Starve, various Bethesda titles, Hollow Knight....... ###So what's your favorite game? That's a rough question. I have a deep love for Skyrim, but I also really love the Mass Effect trilogy. Maybe because they were the first games I played, I can't be sure. But I do love those quite a bit. Additionally, I love Hollow Knight. I love my bug knights. What can I say. ###What's your favorite game genre? I like medieval fantasy, but I also really enjoy space-age science fiction (as you may be able to tell from the entire theme of my channel). If something has dragons in it, I'll be far more likely to be interested in it as well.
I'll get an image in here soon. https://archiveofourown.org/users/Falcolmreynolds/works The above links to my AO3, which includes a boatload of original works as well as some fan content for various franchises. More will get added, but that's it for now.
