A gamer ever since my dad bought that first console (and before I ever had a computer). What console was that? Now that would be telling. Completionist gamer and trophy/achievement hunter who thinks a good story-based game is worth taking the time to enjoy. My first languages are English (Engels) and Taishanese (Taisjanees/台山話) Chinese (Chinees/中文). My parents and relatives also speak/spoke Cantonese (Cantonees/廣東話) Chinese. I grew up learning French (Frans/français) starting at age 9 and continued studying it through 1st-year university. I consider Cantonese and French to be second languages due to my familiarity with them. Productive languages (languages I need to use): English, Taishanese, Cantonese, Dutch (Nederlands). Current favourite language/s: Russian (Russisch/русский), Greek (Grieks/ελληνικά).

Yes, it’s “she/her” ’cause they are the pronouns I'm used to and even if I've felt “boyish” in the past and did “boy things” as a kid when I should’ve been doing “girl things” and didn’t feel “girlish” at times, I've never considered myself to be “he/him”. “They/them” is acceptable if you don’t know I use “she/her”, for example, when I pop into one of your language learning streams and say “Hi” in the language you’re learning. Picture date: January 21, 2020. Pixie was the tiniest in her litter of four kittens. By the time she was 2 months, she had decided that her dad was the "bestest" cat in the whole world. Although I had to give away her litter mates, I kept her because of her affection for her dad and because she was skittish around other people. Her dad, Dove, was my sweetest and dearest companion, but I've had Pixie since she was born. It took her a long time before she even started purring and meowing, so I'm surprised she outlived both her mom (who died young due to breast cancer) and her dad (who died just shy of 17 and a half years old in October 2018). Farewell, little Pixie. I’ll miss your little “paws of fury”. "No chicken, back of the line", everyone.
