Hello! My name is AJ and welcome to "The Frequency." I'm a graduate of the University of North Dakota's FAA Collegiate Training Initiative (CTI) Air Traffic Control program in Grand Forks, North Dakota. I also studied Aeronautical Science and Air Traffic Management at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida. Although not presently current, I hold a private pilot certificate which I obtained during my time at Embry-Riddle and have completed a majority of my instrument training with around 100 hours of total flight time. I have applied on numerous occasions to the FAA with the goal of becoming a real world controller, unfortunately I was not selected for an opportunity prior to aging-out.
