Dec 8 2020 My brother, Derek Seitz passed away, he worked with the youth for the John Howard society in Lulu’s Lodge. Lulu’s Lodge is a group home for struggling LGBTQ2S youth in Regina who do not have a place to go, whether it means they have no home or no longer feel safe to be who they truly are in their home. Lulus lodge is the safe haven that these youth need, when they need to feel safe, need to feel accepted, and when they need to feel comfortable about who they are. The money raised by this go fund me will be donated to help pay down the loan they needed to buy their home. Though Lulu’s Lodge will need ongoing fundraising and support they need to pay down the loan enough to keep its doors open at the end of 2021. Please help me show tribute to the amazing person my brother was by keeping the place he was so passionate about open to keep helping as many people it possibly can. Matthew Seitz

Derek was/is my brother, the one i could run to with anything and never feel judgment. he may have made fun a little but never real judgment. he made me feel safe and loved, he passed away DEC 8 11:00 AM and ever since my world has been left with a giant hole. this link will take you to a video that shows just a glimpse at how amazing he was
