Becoming active and physically fit changed my life. I used to be your typical stereotype nerd/gamer. I stayed up all night, slept all day, was overweight, and lacked any and all motivation to improve myself in the real world. I graduated high school (barely) with a 2.2 GPA and failed out of community college three semesters in a row due to attendance which resulted in academic probation and then suspension. I quit. I said I'm just not cut out for it. Luckily I was offered a full-time job in management, and so moved out of my mothers and started to get my life in order. I began working out and everything started to change. I became passionate. I found a fire from within and let it spread to all areas of my life. I decided to return to college and saw myself earn a progressing GPA of 3.5, 3.75, 3.8, and finally a 4.0 after transferring to a 4-year university. Since then I have graduated from college in December 2016 with Magna Cum Laude honors. I went from over 205lbs at 5'8 with little to no muscle mass to where I sit currently at about 170lbs with much a better muscle to fat ratio. The confidence and self-determination that fitness awoke within me is something I try to share with others and look forward to doing for a very long time.
