HeyGuys!! I'm Selen, and I'm the face of the HeyGuys global emote. It's always been my thing to say, "Hey guys." I'll walk into a room full of people and say, "Hey guys!" I started working at Twitch in 2013, and an impression of me doing "HeyGuys" quickly caught on in the Twitch office. At the time, there were no other emotes to say "Hi" or "Welcome" so I submitted a picture of myself and concept to make HeyGuys into a global emote. I'll never forget the moment I learned that it had been released on the site and was going viral. It was also special for all of us in the office to see something that was part of our office culture be embraced and loved by the Twitch community. My first role at Twitch was as the Director of Recruiting where I had a key role in the company's hyper-growth leading up to the acquisition by Amazon. I then worked on Twitch's international expansion and traveled to multiple countries in Europe, Asia and Latin America setting up our global offices while also managing the People Services team that took care of all global employees HR needs. My content is all Just Chatting. Currently I enjoy doing workout streams at home. I'm also very passionate about fashion and enjoy doing try-on hauls for my audience. We are all about positivity in my channel and community. My goal is that everyone who watches a stream of mine feels better when they leave.
