I'm a professor of physics and astronomy at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). I study planets orbiting distant stars (mostly relating to NASA's Kepler mission, which I've been part of for about 10 years). In the past I've worked on dark matter, dark energy, gravitation, and a variety of other science stuff. I'll be talking primarily about astronomy, physics, and other related topics.
