I primarily use Little Sound DJ to produce chiptune music, which is a native rom that runs on the Nintendo Gameboy platform and allows for the creation of original music. It has four channels of monophonic, stereo sound. Two of which produce variable width pulse waves, one which produces a sort of white noise, and a fourth which operates both as a wavetable synth and sample playback channel.
