Currency Exchange Fee If items from a merchant are not in USD or if a fan chooses to pay in a currency other than USD, we take an additional 1.5%. This currency exchange fee is paid to our payment processor. Service Fee We have two categories of service fees, those for creators in our main supported countries (see jointhrone.com/countries) and merchants (see jointhrone.com/merchants) and those outside of this region or for merchants outside of our network. For the supported merchants and countries, we charge a flat 7% service fee. For unsupported merchants or countries outside our main supported countries, we charge 12%. We do this to account for additional ordering and accounting efforts. For smaller value items from non-preferred or non-partnered merchants for your corresponding country, a flat $5.99 service & payment processing fee is charged instead of the 5% processing fee + 7% (or 12%) service fees. Taxes & Shipping Shipping is used to pay for the shipping costs at some merchants, similarly to taxes.
