Howdy peoples! I'm a gear junkie who loves to read manuals and do things the most complicated way. I've worked in movie theaters and around tech a lot of my life - I was a 35mm projector technician before becoming a Digital Cinema Specialist. I personally installed several hundred digital cinema projectors at Regal Cinemas and other chains all across the US, I've installed and calibrated even more audio systems, from hacked together half pro half consumer custom interfaces, up to full scale Dolby Atmos systems, and I've been doing live sound for over 20 years, while dabbling as a DJ and karaoke host. My first console was an N64 I bought with money from my paper route in middle school, and I started building my own PCs from scrap parts from state surplus in high school. My first PC had a cartridge 500MHz Pentium 3 and an ATI Rage Pro video card. My steam account is older than some Twitch streamers. Some of my favorite games are Borderlands (2 in particular), FTL, Minecraft, Factorio, the Mass Effect series, Stardew Valley, various Fallout and Elder Scroll games, and many, many others.
