Game & Software development on most even numbered days. Sometimes we take a day off to play.
Recommended Game and Software Development Resources
Tools that I recommend if you want to get started in game development:
* [Bitsy](https://make.bitsy.org/) is a simple tool to make RPG and puzzle games.
* [Twine](https://twinery.org/) a game engine for choose-your-own-adventure stories.
* [Godot](https://godotengine.org/) a well-known and established game engine.
* [Bevy](https://bevyengine.org/) A next-generation game engine.
* [Inkscape](https://inkscape.org/) This is what I use to create 2D art.
* [Blender](https://www.blender.org/) This is what I use to create 3D models.
* [Rust](https://www.rust-lang.org/) A programming language.
I no longer use Unity3D. I've finished porting all of my Unity projects over to Godot.
Welcome!
I aspire to welcome you as you are, no matter your background or skill level. I want my space to feel safe and comfortable to the best of my ability.
I enjoy questions about anything and everything! Don't be surprised if we drop everything to do an ad-hoc into to computer science class.
Game Development
Most of my streams are Game & Software Development using technologies like rust and Godot.
My projects include:
* Delta Synthesis (Godot, C#): a spaceflight simulator.
* Time Spiders (Godot, rust): a base-building game with time travel mechanics.
* Sonus Lumes: (rust, WebGPU) A minecraft-like.
* People, Places and Things: (bevy engine) A city builder.
* You May Never Return to Heaven (uncertain): some kind of role playing game we may revisit in the future.
* Other Prototype Projects
