Jayvi Velasco has been active as a DJ in San Francisco Bay Area House music community since 1991. To expand his technical expertise as a DJ, Jayvi earned a degree as a sound & recording engineer in the 1998. He’s had residencies and headlined at many of the major dance clubs in the Bay Area played at thousands of events including international music festivals (MiCasa Holiday, West Coast Weekender, SoulCamp, BFD). He’s had the opportunity to share the stage with legendary DJs & producers such as Louie Vega, Kenny Dope, Danny Krivit, Tony Humphries, David Harness, Miguel Migs, Timmy Regisford, Atjazz, Osunlade, Karizma, Shortkut, just to name a few... Jayvi’s vast experience, improvisational skills, eclectic musical selection & willingness to push the envelope has led to him as being a long time favorite amongst dancers in the San Francisco Bay Area & beyond.

about AfterAfterHours: AfterAfterHours began as a 1st Saturday monthly, late night party in August 2007 that ran until 2011 at the same SF Mission District venue, Legion. In March 2012 AfterAfterHours returned with an epic one off at Cell Space SF. AfterAfterHours moved across the bay to Oakland for 3 events in 2013 & in May 2014 had a one-off collaboration with Soul Camp at Cloud 9, Berkeley. For our 7th anniversary in Aug 2014, AfterAfterHours was held at Hush SF. 2014 to 2019, AfterAfterHours hosted a regular club night named “Back & 4th” on 4th Fridays at Wish SF.
