Nice to meet you and thanks for checking out my channel! Other than my wife and our 4 girls, music has been the biggest part of my life. Now here's my whole life story... CHAPTER ONE... JK... kind of, lol ~ After many years of studying and performing classical piano, I started playing and singing popular songs by ear in high school. During my freshman year at the University of Minnesota, I was introduced to the world of Dueling Pianos that set me on a career path that led me to travel the world and play with hundreds of talented musicians. ~ While finishing my studies, I spent the summer of 2008 in Taipei working as a songwriter and recording/performing artist for a media company called ORTV. The summer of 2009 I spent in Singapore doing my first full-time performing gig as a Dueling Pianist at Howl at the Moon (the first Dueling Piano bar on the continent of Asia). ~ After graduating with degrees in math and music in 2010, I set out to sea to perform as a Solo Piano Bar entertainer for Royal Caribbean and Carnival Cruise Lines.

~ In 2010 I also released Finding February, my first (and only) full-length album of original music (and a couple of classical pieces at the end). Feel free to check out Finding February on Spotify and Apple Music. ~ On April 7, 2012 I married the love of my life (Caris), who is herself a very talented musician who doesn’t perform often but occasionally makes an appearance in my live streams. ~ Fast forward to October 19, 2014 (my 28th birthday) when we launched our small business, Rock It Man Entertainment. My wife and I wanted to create a business to bring Dueling Pianos and other live music to weddings, events and venues throughout North America. As of 2020, we have hired over 100 musicians for nearly 1000 shows in 30 different U.S. states (and Canada). ~ On February 21, 2016, Caris gave birth to Selah Grace, our first of three daughters. Naomi Joy joined our family on March 27, 2018. ~ Then 2020 came... and on Friday the 13th of March, dozens of gigs we had booked (through Rock It Man) started canceling in droves.

~ With the uncertainty brought on by COVID-19, by early April I began my live streaming journey on Facebook. ~ Cadence Hope (our beloved "COVID baby" and the latest addition to our family) entered our crazy quarantined world on May 14, 2020. ~ Throughout the months that followed and to this day, it's hard to emphasize enough how grateful we are for the incredible community of friends and followers who we've had the pleasure of getting to know through our live streams. It's been an honor to collaborate with so many talented musicians and entrepreneurs. We are so thankful for all of your love and support! <3 ~ That brings us to where you are currently, my Twitch channel. After some prodding from some friends who were streaming on Twitch, in September 2020 I decided to begin streaming on Twitch and give it a try in addition to Facebook Live.
