Favorite Games

Here are some of my favorite games/franchises of all time. This list is not only what I've enjoyed over the years as a player but also transformed the way I think about game design. Not a ranked list, just a list. Alphabetical, actually. Battle Brothers Blood Bowl Counterstrike Dark Souls Dawn of War II Dungeons and Dragons Escape from Tarkov Fallout: New Vegas Football Manager Jagged Alliance 2 League of Legends Magic: The Gathering Pool of Radiance (and other Gold Box games) Street Fighter Team Fortress (2fort4!) Ultima Online XCOM (Original and Modern) And of course a special mention to World of Warcraft. This is a game I was fortunate to work on and play for over a decade. Below is a list of games I've played in recent years that I was really impressed by but haven't quite nudged their way onto the above list. Time will tell: Crusader Kings Darkest Dungeon Europa Universalis FTL: Faster than Light Knights of the Chalice The Long Dark Prison Architect RimWorld Sword of the Stars: The Pit The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
