I'm a Software Developer who's always been keen on computers. A lot of my personal projects involve programming or scripting. One of my most successful recent projects was constructing an Arcade Machine from scratch and programming the firmware for its 4-player Arcade controls so that they worked like separate USB devices. I try to be pragmatic, but sometimes OCD gets to me. In general, do not let the Perfect become the enemy of the Good. I like to stream on special occasions. As a participant in Extra Life 2023, on November 4th and 5th I will be playing for 25 hours to raise money for the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO)! Please help support this great hospital network in its mission to treat and research cures for sick kids!

I've been a big fan of video games for a long time. My first console was the *Colecovision*, which was a lesser-known contemporary of the Atari 2600. In the following generations, I was generally loyal to the *Sega* consoles (including handhelds) instead of the *Nintendo* ones, until the end of the *Genesis'* era. My next console after that was the much later *Xbox*, where in the intervening time I'd become more of a *PC* gamer, and the *PC* platform has largely dominated my interests ever since. The games I play most often now are mostly made by Indie studios. I like survival and construction style games, but I also like action/adventure, RPGs, and some FPS games. I prefer a mouse and keyboard over a controller, but I am also into VR. I'm doing my part to raise the next generation of gamers.
