LotsOfS

Hey, I'm LotsOfS. Some people call me S. Feel free to say hi in my chat :)

Hello

Panel Content
My name is S. and this is my Twitch page. I can't guarantee the bio is up to date, I don't like updating it very much, mostly because these boxes are tiny and Markdown is terrible. I started streaming on Twitch in 2012. I started off doing speedrun races of Portal, but quickly started doing solo speedruns of (mainly) Half-Life 2: Episode Two and Half-Life 2. I eventually lost interest in Source game speedruns around 2013/2014 and instead focused on 100% speedruns for most notably Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, as well as Vice City. I realized that speedrun grinding is not my thing. I like coming up with early routes, and doing a couple runs just to get a semi-good time, but I don't like grinding for perfection. As such, you are not likely to find such content here. So now I mostly stream whatever I feel like at the time, be it casual stuff or the odd speedrun. Care to know more about me? Read the rest of my bio, sit back and enjoy the stream, or maybe even say hi in my chat!

Donations

Panel Content
If you want to provide monetary support, click the banner above. Donations are not obligatory, but are very much appreciated. I will use the money towards the prevention of starvation of my self. The banner above will send you to my **[StreamElements](https://streamelements.com/lotsofs/tip)** page. A sound will play on my stream to alert me that someone donated, and your message will be read out loud by my assistant Hayley, and it'll also be output to chat so I can read it. Unfortunately, you can only use PayPal on the above link. If you wish to use another form of payments, you can only provide monetary support with Twitch's built in features such as **[subscribing](https://www.twitch.tv/products/lotsofs/ticket)** or cheering. While Twitch does take a cut out of a subscription, the benefit to me is that it can directly boost my numbers. •I have retired my StreamLabs link, because that's a sucky company. •I have also retired my direct PayPal link due to privacy concerns. •Furthermore, I have retired my PitchInBox link because the service no longer exists. •I have retired my G4G page as well, because I can't figure out how that site works anymore. •Lastly, I have retired my Patreon page, because it wasn't seeing any use, not even by me.

Chat rules

Panel Content
I am normally quite tolerant/lax when it comes to enforcing chat behavior, so you shouldn't have much to worry about if you're just here to be a normal viewer. Sometimes I might be annoyed with something though, then I would advice you to watch your words a bit more carefully, but ideally that doesn't happen. * Don't be a sack of poop. (this rule covers all the basic and obvious shit like 'dont be racist' etc, please don't make me spell it all out.) * Please keep the chat limited to English. I also accept West Frisian because it's so rare and I understand it. However if you speak Spanish/Russian I won't be able to understand you, so don't do that. If you speak German, I will probably be able to understand you, but many of my audience won't be, so don't do that either. Exceptions exist when we are talking about learning languages or whatever. Context blah blah blah. For general communication: English. * Backseat gaming is annoying. Don't do it. If I ask a question about my game (eg. "What do I do here?"), it's likely rhetorical or just me thinking out loud so don't immediately jump to answer me lol. I will be specific about it when I want a question answered. * Spoilers are also not cool if I'm doing a first playthrough. This goes without saying, but I'd also like to advice against opinion pieces like 'oh I really enjoyed the final level of this game'. While vague, these statements will set expectations in my head which is no bueno. To be on the safe side, just don't talk about upcoming stuff at all no matter how vague. * Please read the Frequent Questions, Demands & Statements. * After reading the FQDS, don't copy and paste one of its questions over to chat as a joke. It's gotten old and it's tiresome to tell whether you're being serious or not. * Use the clip button when something even remotely funny happens. Post the clip in my Discord. * If there's technical issues with my stream, let me know. Things like audio too loud/quiet. And when someone else does, let me know if you agree or disagree with them. The amount of times I went into my vod only to find the audio horribly wrong makes me want to roll up in a ball. On the contrary: Don't joke about tech issues when there are none. It's annoying as hell. * Don't be a sack of poop.

General Frequent Questions, Demands and Statements

Panel Content
**Where are you from?** I am from Friesland. **Do you live there currently?** No. **What is your primary language?** I speak West Frisian. However, in the interest of international accessibility, I stream in English. **Why is your game in Spanish/some other language?** If I'm very familiar with a game, I don't need English texts anymore. In that case, I tend to change the language to something I don't know so that I may pick up a word or two and learn the language. Alternatively, the language might be faster because speedruns, but I cannot think of any games in my current repertoire that are affected like this. **How old are you?** I have stopped counting **I thought you were from Nepal? :O** Yeah, I misclicked the wrong country earlier and it caused big confusion. Oopsie. **How do I read the FAQ on mobile?** It's called the FQDS. Also I don't know. Ask in chat! **But chat will just tell me to read the FAQ!** FQDS. Also I think there's an info button in the app somewhere, it might look something like this: ⓘ. **Why are you playing this old shit? Wow, the graphics are so bad!** Why are you coming into this stream just to ask this stupid question? **Dude, this game is so oooooooold!** So is your granddad but you still love him, don’t you? **What is the song playing? What is your playlist?** You can consult my playlist here: [Click](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/e/2PACX-1vTefpgv5ehtU2AP5uAb5GxFfufyLPijbWno1TkZucqjnFblE4YWOq0jAx0-0JeM1fu8LzHoEe-OTvwQ/pubhtml?gid=1534475411&single=true). I can’t help you beyond that since this is a pre-written FAQ. Guess you’re going to have to ask me anyway. I should have the current song displayed on my stream layout somewhere. **A google spreadsheet? Really now? Don't you have anything better than that?** [Here's a Spotify playlist](https://open.spotify.com/user/1110249830/playlist/7JoaGxCKBuoGTDsFpWHFYl?si=MijjxDpkTFmXtMAfnJY3EA). It's incomplete though, a large part of my playlist is not available on Spotify, and I've stopped maintaining it. Recently used a bot to update it in Nov 2022, so there might be a few extra in there as well that it misidentified. **Also, isn't this called the FQDS, not a FAQ? You just called it FAQ!** Damn, you got me. **Why are subtitles disabled?** I don't like subtitles. I find that having them disabled yields a much better experience for people like me, who are proficient enough at English and not hearing impaired. **That's cool, but I am watching your stream and I am not as good at English/I am actually hearing impaired/your volume levels suck and I can't hear the game.** That's fair. I might enable the subtitles anyway for your sake, but if I haven't, feel free to ask. I usually oblige, unless the subtitles for that particular game I'm playing are especially bad. **Strimmer, can you play [insert game here].** I have a massive backlog of games. I will likely not oblige. **Strimmer, can you play [insert game that isn't remotely similar to anything I've ever streamed or expressed interest in before].** No, why don’t you go and search for a streamer playing said game instead of disturbing me? **Why are you so mean in your FAQ?** I stole the idea from someone else. Thought it made for good laughs :). **Well I don't think it's funny. You're just rude. You're an asshole.** That's fine. I hope you enjoy the stream itself anyway. **What does the S stand for?** It symbolizes the plurality of nothingness, by adding an s behind an empty space. The LotsOf part is just there because there is indeed a lot of it, and for most websites a plural amount of nothing is still too little. **Can I donate to the stream in some way?** Yes, and this would be much appreciated :). You can find information on how to do this elsewhere in my bio.

Tools I am using

Panel Content
**Input display tool**: This is a tool called S Keys. There are two versions: S Keys 8, which [Fatalis](http://www.twitch.tv/fatalis_) kindly made for me long ago. Here is a link: [Click]( https://www.dropbox.com/s/0aw974wiuzkd7gj/SKeys%20%288%29.exe?dl=0). I later made my own version, S Keys 9, which you can get here: [Click](https://github.com/lotsofs/S-Keys-9/releases). Both versions have their up and downsides. 8 is stable and works. I forgot what 9 offers that 8 doesn't, other than some performance issues. If you use 9, do let me know about your experience. **Chatty**: This is the client I use to read chat and display chat on stream, made by [Tduva](http://twitch.tv/tduva). You can download it over [here](http://chatty.github.io/). **Split files**: I use LiveSplit for my splits. Unfortunately I do not have a publicly accessible link to my splits at the time. **GTA Radio External**: I use a self-made tool to mute winamp when radio shouldn't be playing in GTA. You can find it here: [Here](https://github.com/lotsofs/GTA-Radio-External/releases)

Health Warning

Panel Content
Always play in a well lit environment. **Take regular breaks, 15 minutes every hour.** Discontinue playing if you experience dizziness, nausea, fatigue or have a headache. Some individuals are sensitive to flashing or flickering lights or geometric shapes and patterns, may have an undetected epileptic condition and may experience epileptic seizures when watching television or playing videogames. Consult your doctor before playing videogames if you have an epileptic condition and immediately should you experience any of the following symptoms whilst playing: altered vision, muscle twitching, other involuntary movement, loss of awareness, confusion and/or convulsions.

A huge thanks to box full of h3x, or blue_h3x for designing my typical S in its various colors with all the nuances. Below is fanart submitted by viewers and friends. If you want your own fanart on display, you can send it to me via Discord or a whisper or something. One piece of art on display per person, but feel free to provide me with a link to an album or your webpage or something. If you want your art replaced or removed, you can contact me the same way.
