My name is Max Chan. I am 25 years old and from California. I'm primarily known for Let's Plays on YouTube. On this channel, I mainly stream the following content: + The Legend of Zelda speedruns (various categories) + New Super Mario Bros. speedruns (various categories) + Mario Party Superstars online matches + 100% Orange Juice online matches I originally grew my channel with competitive Super Smash Bros. Brawl in August 2013. Then, the online system shut down in May 2014. I lost all of my motivation in competitive Smash and moved onto speedrunning in 2015. I'm best known in speedrunning for achieving top times in the Zelda series, New Super Luigi U and New Super Mario Bros. 2. As of January 2021, I no longer enjoy top level competition due to the rise in modern competition. Nowadays, I prefer to speedrun whatever I'm motivated to play in the given opportunity, as well as self-improvement. I will also stream online multiplayers and I do take requests for matches. If you have any questions about the games that I play or you just want to chat, then don't feel hesitant on saying anything. I try to interact with the chat as much as possible. Due to constantly making videos for my YouTube channel and many other personal obligations, I do not follow a set streaming schedule. However, I try to stream 3-4 days a week. Sometimes less or more. Please talk. Streaming is much more fun when I can interact with chat. It also helps take the pressure off when I'm doing runs, as I tend to not speak much when I'm running. "RIP" and "reset" are discouraged. If I am streaming a blind playthrough, minor tips and hints are okay but no spoilers. If I have split times off, please do not tell me what my pace is. Just enjoy the run. Do not compare my run with yours or somebody else's run. I do not care and I do not associate myself with other people's times. Mods of the stream will have their own rights to delete messages/timeout/ban a user for their reasons. If you feel that one of my moderators is being unreasonable, then feel free to send me a message on Discord. The chat is "Follower Only" in order to prevent spam bots from raiding in. I have removed all activity the scammer has done to my account. However, I have still lost a lot from the scam incident so any support is appreciated to help recover my funds. I am currently looking for higher job opportunity. So as of right now, I have not had much motivation to speedrun anything. However, I am currently submitting to a couple marathons. Whatever events I get accepted to, I will try to come back to speedrunning to prep for those events.
