Spawned by the Icon of Sin to face the legendary DOOM Slayer, Vespite broke free from torture & imprisonment, overcome with spite for her demon brethren. Inspired by the Hell Walker, she ripped & tore through her enemies with the aid of her cursed demonic abilities, not knowing that they came with a price... until it was too late. Within a California-owned base on Phobos, Vespite puts a barricade of networked machines between her & the horde: The Hive. When she isn’t busy surviving supply excursions or illustrating to Industrial music while regenerating, she works on her now impaired abilities which includes acquiring & mastering new assistive tech like the Peregrine glove. However, her true passion lies in retribution.

This genetic disorder causes a dangerous level of hypermobility & can trigger a slew of associated comorbidities, including Dysautonomia. While EDS can often grant some unusual athletic advantages while much younger, the more an EDS patient uses their body & receives injuries via skeletal instability, the more fragile they become with age (prematurely). EDS effects every patient differently, with degrees of severity across a spectrum. The last major clinical research undertaking suggests [1 in 5000](https://www.ehlers-danlos.com/2017-eds-classification-non-experts/hypermobile-ehlers-danlos-syndrome-clinical-description-natural-history/#:~:text=Prevalence%20of%20hEDS%3A%20EDS%20occurs,which%20are%20cases%20of%20hEDS.) people have EDS worldwide. Newer data is suggesting it's much more common, especially given the debate over the clinical differentiation between JHS & EDS on the hypermobility spectrum, putting unaware hypermobile people at risk for a complicated future if they do not take extra care.
