Welcome! I'm Mocha. (it's a coffee thing). I discovered the fantastic world of miniature painting through DnD (4e) and found myself looking forward to painting miniatures for every game night. In 2014 I attended my first miniature gaming convention, ReaperCon, where I fell in love with the art of painting tiny things. Several years later, I'm both proud & grateful to be an award-winning painter, sharing my passion teaching at conventions and friendly local game stores.

###How long have you been painting? > On-and-off since 2010, and I chronicled many of my efforts along the way here on [my blog](https://www.mochaminis.com/blog). ###How did you get into miniature painting? > I started playing Dungeons & Dragons 4th edition and wanted my player character to stand out. I purchased my first female wizard miniature online from Reaper and the rest is history! ###What kinds of brushes do you use? > Winsor & Newton Series 7 - Size 0-3 ###What kinds of paints do you use? > Reaper Master Series Paints > True Metallic Metals: P3, Vallejo > Airbrush: Stynylrez Primer. I only use the airbrush to prime my minis-- the rest is lovingly hand-painted with a brush. ###What conventions will you be attending in 2019? > I'll definitely be at ReaperCon 2019 (Denton, Texas) as a full-time instructor. Since I've recently moved across the country, I'll be looking into teaching at various local conventions for the first time. More info to come! ###Want to know more? *Just ask!*
