This is Modal Soul, the inspiration behind my twitch name (whose name in turn was inspired by an amazing Nujabes album) and a character from which I draw a lot of comfort. They're very important to me :)

Hiya, I'm ModalineSoul, you can call me Modal. Trans non-binary human person with a love for music and sound design, an affinity for combat-centric or challenging games, and the contrast that comes with playing more chill, thoughtful and atmospheric game experiences on the side.

I enjoy games at a relaxed pace and generally do so in a way that I could if I weren't streaming at all. What this means is that backseating and spoilers are strictly against the rules and as a general rule I prefer if I'm not given information about the games I'm playing at all outside of the info the games themselves give me.

Current game obsessions are Celeste and FFXIV. All-time favs in no particular order are Transistor, NieR Automata, the Monster Hunter franchise, Journey, Outer Wilds, Bloodborne, Dark Souls 1 (and many other things From Software tbh).
