i have autism, previously diagnosed as Asperger's before that diagnosis was merged with ASD in the DSM this means that i am on a spectrum of mental disability wherein i struggle with certain things. i have my strengths, and they can be brilliant, but my weaknesses can be blinding. some of the things i struggle with are: - sarcasm and jokes (not including puns) - understanding a comment without context - social expectations/norms - understanding instructions without clear rules or explanations - small talk - reality some things i excel in are: - my special interests - encouraging others - understanding emotions when they are clearly communicated - accepting others unconditionally (except for when you are unkind) - listening if you have any questions, i am more than happy to talk about my autism, and what i know of mental disabilities in general (´▽`ʃ♡ƪ)
