Oh hey. I'm Brandon, a 17-year old stuck in a 41-year old's body. I live in Ontario, Canada. I am married, and a father of two amazing boys. I like to pretend I have time to speed run games like Super Metroid. That being said, I don't have a set streaming schedule by any means. Having two young kids in the house and a full-time job have left me with a very small window of opportunity to stream, but I pound out some runs when I can. Everything you see here, including the stream layout, headers and emotes are all designed by myself.

Other possible future speed games include Super Castlevania IV, Megaman X and Bonk's Revenge. I do occasionally stream casual play throughs when Super Metroid is making me want to hang myself with my controller cord.

Quite simply, a Nintoaster is an original NES built into a toaster chassis. Yes, you read that right. I found the idea for this project online some time ago on YouTube, the brainchild of a man named Richard Daluz. His website is **[here](http://www.stupidfingers.com)**, and although he hasn't updated it since 2012, there's a ton of cool stuff on there to check out. You can also watch one or more of his many entertaining videos (including a great Nintoaster instructional video) on his YouTube channel **[here](http://www.youtube.com/user/vomitsaw)**. I did a Nintoaster reveal special for 100 follows, and as part of that I took my viewers on a tour of the system, explaining how everything works. You can find the video for that **[here](https://www.twitch.tv/videos/41602173)**. You can also click the image above for pictures from the actual build process. If you have any questions about this project, feel free to shoot me a PM or ask in my channel! **Update** The rumors are indeed true - I have sold the Nintoaster, which I realize makes me a filthy sellout. I needed the money to fund a new project - The Partycade, which is a full-sized, full-fledged and fully-functional arcade machine. I could've built 12 Nintoasters for the money it cost to build the Partycade, but alas, it was time for that project to sail into the sunset. I may build another some day, likely a 4-slice toaster with NES and Super NES.

**PC:** AMD Ryzen 5 3600 MSI GeForce GTX 1660 Super Gigabyte B450 Aorus Pro Wifi mobo 16gb Corsair DDR4-3200 RAM 1TB M.2 SSD **Streaming Setup:** I run a middle-ground setup using S-video, which is a step above composite, but a step below the much-coveted (and expensive) RGB setup. All of the consoles I own that don't natively output S-video are modded for it. The consoles are connected to a poverty-class Radio Shack splitter/amplifier, then split between an IO Data GV-USB2 and a Sony Wega 27" flat-tube CRT. **Webcam:** Whatever current potato I can find, usually a generic 720p webcam or my dinosaur digital SLR **Microphone:** Re-purposed Guitar Hero USB cardioid microphone. Without heavy EQ-ing it makes me sound like I'm talking into a toilet bowl, so 85% of my CPU usage is dedicated to de-toiletbowling my voice during streaming. **Software:** **[OBS Studio](https://obsproject.com/)** for streaming. A great all-in-one streaming solution. **[LiveSplit](http://livesplit.org)** for timing my horrible speed runs **Home Theatre:** Samsung 65" 4k LED TV Yamaha RX-V385 receiver JBL Northridge speakers **Consoles:** + **The Partycade** [(More info)](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6CmMzreRUYw&ab_channel=BrandonInsley) + NES front-loader modded with [NESRGB](https://etim.net.au/nesrgb/), [Blinking Light Win](https://www.arcadeworks.net/blw) AAAAAND [custom-made eject button](https://www.twitch.tv/videos/227808184) + SNES Jr. + Nintendo 64 (black) + Gamecube (purple) + Wii + Sega Master System + Sega Genesis model 1 "High Definition Graphics" + Sega cd (model 2) + Sega 32x + Sega Saturn (model 2) + Sega Dreamcast + Turbografx 16 + PS1 original + PS2 original + PS3 original, 60gb + PS4 Pro + XBox + XBox 360 S + Gameboy Advance SP **Other Hardware:** **[Nakitek Gamesaver](http://www.stoneagegamer.com/nakitek-game-saver.html)** - Obsolete since getting an SD2SNES (much love, crossproduct!). This panel used to contain inordinate amounts of text outlining my chat rules. I decided that I care about writing wordy rules as much as you'd likely care about reading them, so I've whittled it down to one simple guideline: - Don't be a tool.
