I'm 48 years old and I've been paralyzed from the neck down for 20 years.The device I use for gaming is called a Jouse, which functions as a mouse. #You can find out more about this device on the [Jouse website.](http://www.compusult.net/assistive-technology/our-at-products/jouse3) #- Games I play Diablo 3, World Of Warcraft, League of Legends, Archage, Path Of Exile, Starcraft and Rift. I am open to more games that are primarily mouse controlled as I cannot use a keyboard. #- Hobbies Hockey is my first love. My favourite hockey team is Philadelphia Flyers. I also enjoy poker. I have won a few poker tournaments but I am still learning. #- My Accident It was a windy day on a construction site I was working at. An air duct that wasn't properly attached blew down, hit a pair of 2x4's nailed together, fell five stories and hit me in the back of the head. My hard hat was shattered. It didn't knock me out but eventually I could not breathe and passed out. I woke up in the hospital with the doctor telling me I'm going to be paralysed for the rest of my life. I looked around the room seeing all the machines and me being hooked up to all of them. I could only respond by moving my eye lids. One blink for yes, two for no. This lasted two weeks. They performed a tracheotomy and I was able to speak and was only able to eat a little. I dropped down from 210lbs to about 150lbs. Despite my depression, and because of my kids and ex-wife, I decided I was not going to end my life. My daughter's birthday was in 2 days and I worked so hard to sit up by then, I must have passed out six or seven times. But I did it. I blew the candles out with her. If you are curious about my situation feel free to ask me questions. I want the world to see what I can do despite my conditions.
