Far along the outskirts of pixel space, a sinuous array of the ghosts of one of man's most engaging creations begins to stir. In a dimension parallel to both our world and the realm of 2D, the memories of a million broken controllers, spent coins in the arcades, and sleepless nights on the couch conglomerate over a billion hours of playtime Over the eons(in game time)the shapeless mass of save files, lost lives, and their ilk, writhe and coil. The once placid gathering of the intangible concepts of the gamerverse begins to coalesce in it's parallel space. The ethereal becomes something real, the many convoluted concepts becomes a substantial, single being. In the darkness, **Optipersona** melds into being. It hears the calls of man, and the yearning of the pixel space. The chorus across the expanse of lateral planes fills its mind with knowledge, and with knowledge, a purpose. As time ebbs forward, man has expanded it's forays into the pixel realm with more consoles and games than ever before. "There is simply not enough time in the day" man cries, "To indulge in this greatest of pleasures. There are dragons to slay, and princesses to save!". As if it's mind was a gyroscope, **Opti** as well feels the cry of the gameverse. "We have become as vast and as imaginative as man. We have been molded to be enjoyed, and yet we lament. Our vastness is perhaps too great, man cannot possibly enjoy us all." **Optipersona** conjectures the substance of it's existence. Intertwined in the planes, it's form waxes with every incursion men make into the gameverse, but wanes as it feels the deepest corners of the gameverse go untouched; a digital gem stone left unturned. To ensure it's growing presence and longevity, the being knows what it must do. Using a large reserve of power gathered from the holidays, **Optipersona** fractures it's being into two separate identities, and sends them across the adjacent planes, as catalysts to it's growing hunger.

**Optipersona's** two fractured portions of itself exert their influence in the world of man and the gameverse, feeding it's hunger by satisfying their callings. With it's strength, it turns it's realm of nothing between the planes into a tangible(albeit warped) form of reality. The being exerted it's influence directly into the minds of men, showing them realms of the gameverse they could only dream of. Indie games, mmos, fighting games, anime, even mobas; none were out of the reach of **Optipersona** to bestow. Gamers were being entertained with hours of content, causing the energy of the gameverse to expand more and overflow into **Optipersona's form**. It did not take long for the more perceptive of mankind to know their visions of gaming were more than just arbitrary delusions, more than just a mass raving. They knew a force greater than their own was at work, and they called to it, wishing to become *followers* of the being. As the calls of these *followers* filled his understanding, his form began to mass even more. Forming his twisting, dark city of "Twitch" in the center of the streameverse(his own personal pocket dimension where his powers can reach their apex), he gathers his strength with his ascended *followers*, the moderators, as his power and influence grows from showing more and more games to humanity. What the being intends to do with this power, however....is currently unknown.
