Have been playing games since I was 4 years old. My gaming days started on our first home computer which was in DOS and only had a yellow and black screen. I used to jam a VERY pixelated karate game called Karateka. I remember playing against my neighbour, sharing a single keyboard as we challenged each other. She got the number keypad and I got the letters side, LOL! From there, my dad bought me my first Nintendo Family Computer (NFC) and this is where the magic happened! This was the world of where you bought game cartridges from guys on the side of the street. 2000in1 cartridges galore! Mario Bros, Contra, Prince of Persia and too many others to list or remember! Days I'll never forget :D The next step was SEGA, OMG Sonic the Hedgehog in his full glory! He was bigger than Bieber by far in those days! Again plenty of amazing titles and games, far too many to list or remember. I got a new PC, pentium 133mhz! Oh my a color screen! A few years passed as I mowed the lawn and cleaned the dishes more time than i care to remember to save up for a brand new Pentium 266mhz! Damn was this thing sexy! Baldur's Gate, Worms, Roller Coaster tycoon & Age of Empires, Starcraft, Warcraft 2, the list goes on and on... Not much multiplayer happened on a 56k modem, but the single player storylines in those days where beyond epic and something that really lacks in this day and age. Then Playstation one came out around the same time and Final Fantasy 7 was exclusive to it! Had to save up to get one! And was it worth it? HELL YES! Played that my entire school holiday and still was nowhere close to being finished! Those 5 CDs were going to take a lot more time to get through At this time, girls started getting boobs in school and my attention started focusing on this new amazing phenomenon. And there were plenty of stunning fun bags in my life :P But did not deter my love for gaming. As we left the small town to move to the big city and start college, Unreal Tournament was the big thing and we played that until the early mornings until you could hear the birds singing at 5am. From there WOW began. I missed the original launch and only joined in BC due to our internet always being a year or two behind the USA and other related countries. But on man when it started and I logged on for the first time and saw other players from around the world, interacting in REAL TIME! It TOTALLY blew my mind and I was hooked! As internet was as affordable as it is these days, not many people, especially students had it in their homes. So the only way to play was to go to work at 3am, which was when my US Guild servers would start to RAID. My Resto Shaman finished every raid until cataclysm when I decided to take a break and focus on my careers and making money. I still played the occasional dungeon but took a big step back as WOW consumed so much of my life. From there I found LOL. I had played the original DOTA mod in Starcraft at work, so already had a keen sense of a MOBA, so knew I would love this and started playing LOL right after BETA phase. As i always played a healer or tank in WOW i took on the same roles in LOL. Sona and Leona soon became my go to champs to this day. I own many other chaps as well and enjoy playing many of them as there is such diversity. And that's a basic intro into where i come from and the glorious gaming moments i've enjoys throughout my life. No in the days of streaming becoming a household name i am sure that these are the days that will create memories of future me! LET'S DO THIS!
