Hi, We're glad you're here. There's no sugar coating it. The world has gone to to the dogs. But that's ok, because we are a bunch of resilient creatives that refuse to take this pandemic lying down. So, we created Pivot Film Festival. The aim? To keep creatives creating, while hopefully having a bloody good time, building a short film judged by some industry greats. The response has been overwhelming. While film makers dusted off their typewriters and cameras to stay creatively in-shape, the muso’s within the community cried “what about us?!”. So, we have created a new Iso Music Challenge made for the triple threats: song writers, film makers, and choreographers. You are once again yelling “Action!” (doesn't that feel good?). When the going gets tough, creatives don’t Pivot. We soldier on. When we can’t find work, we make it!

We've asked creators to make a music video from wherever they are holed up while in isolation. We asked them to call in a favour from their neighbours, coordinate their instruments, and to call in the family/flatmates to make an exceptional music video. In keeping with their local laws around social distancing and this was no easy feat! This is a crazy as heck jigsaw puzzle, and creators are the essential piece. Must contain the prop – A Bin. Music Video Length – 2 to 5 min.

The Pivot Film Festival is a community project that we have put together to help keep the film industry creative while they're out of work. Some will take it seriously, and for others, it may just be a bit of fun. We ask that everyone watching our broadcast and participating in our chat be kind to one another, and we don't tolerate nastiness in any form. Also, we know a lot of families and kids were involved in the creation of these films, so please try and keep the banter clean.
