What are Card Breaks?
In Breaks multiple people split the cost of opening a box, and the cards are divided among the people that bought into the break.
How it Works
Step 1
Buy your “Spot” in any of our Breaks.
Step 2
Come watch the Break live on Twitch.
Step 3
Wait for your cards to arrive in the mail.
There are different types of breaks, we do a Random Type, and a Hit Draft.
Both offer to buy a “spot” which guarantee receiving sought after cards, at a fraction of the cost of a full box. The spots are randomized, and assigned live on the day of the box opening.
Random Type: Participants are randomly assigned a “type”, live on Twitch stream prior to the opening of the box. For Pokemon we use 10 types of cards: Grass, Water, Fire, Electric, Psychic, Colorless, Dark, Steel, Fighting, and Trainer. Participants will receive any foil cards pulled, assigned by type.
The bulk of common, uncommon, and non holographic rares will be evenly distributed among all participants. For this type of Break participants do not need to be present on opening, your cards will be mailed to you after live event.
Hit Draft: The participants of a Hit Draft will watch live as the box is opened. Any holo rare, reverse holo, ultra rare, full art, secret rare, and rainbow rare will be considered a “hit”. Live on Twitch, each participant is assigned a number by using Google Sheets Randomizer. This number denotes the order in which participants will be allowed to select a card from the “Hit” list, until all cards are picked.
The bulk of common, uncommon, and non holographic rares will be evenly distributed among all participants.
