PYLOT has established himself as a strong songwriter and producer within the electronic music scene. Handling cyberpunk and science fiction themes with remarkable subtlety and attention to detail, creating atmospheric soundscapes filled with lush synth melodies and energizing rhythms.
**I'm Tim, the musician and producer behind PYLOT.**
My first five singles, including my debut EP, were released via the Canadian label Monstercat. Since then I have released music via labels such as NewRetroWave and FiXT Neon, as well as independently under my own label imprint, Vivid Night. I have written music for TV and film, and have collaborated with artists such as Power Glove, Essenger and Tokyo Rose.
These streams are a creative outlet for me, as well as a chance to connect with my supporters on a more personal level. The streams will almost always be focussed on topics related to music production and composition, but the genres will be varied depending on what I feel like writing.
My influences stem from Synthwave, Nu Disco, film scores and modern EDM. I like to think I have carved out a personal compositional and production style that is sometimes aggressive, sometimes thoughtful, and often compelling.
